Watch LCD Soundsystems Glam Pop Inspired Music Video For "tonite"
Earlier today LCD Soundsystem released the third single from their fourth upcoming album american dream. As it was Bowie's dying wish to get the band back together the video is very glam rock inspired. Daft Punk also comes to mind as a potential influencer of the flashy setting that often blinds the lens completely. In essence, the video is a simple performance on a rotating stage with James Murphy and company playing "tonite". It is interesting to see how the various interesting sounds on the track are recreated (in theory) in a live setting. american dream comes out on September first.
