The Cardi B train that hit the world in 2017 shows no signs of slowing down as the artist seems to be less than frugal in the early days of 2018.  This time she teams up with Bruno Mars to remix his song "Finesse" from his latest album, 24k Magic.

As per usual Cardi B sings about extravagant wealth and how blatantly irresistible she is but, in the end, is only able to elevate a mediocre song to slightly above its initial standings. The big question I have about Cardi B's staying power is if she can show a deeper repertoire. If she can become more than the big money, big booty girl that sang "Bodak Yellow." Nevertheless, it would be naive not to acknowledge just how massive Cardi B has become and there is no doubt that, accompanied by Bruno Mars, this remix will become the first big hit of 2018.

The music video that accompanied the remix is pretty stellar. The 90's style of clothing an dance and production makes the video outrageously funny. This fact along with the In Living Color tribute, will no doubt creating the amount of nostalgia needed for a massive song.
